Shipping, Handling, & Processing (SH&P) Charges

For the 48 Contiguous US States: Shipping & Handling for orders shipped small package (ground only) made directly through the Gear Up website are based on a tiered structure for all orders. Total shipping charges are automatically calculated and are quoted based on tiered ground shipping rates.

For purchase orders, an industry standard shipping & processing fee of 16% of the total order cost will be applied to orders above $3000.

For shipments outside the 48 contiguous states (Alaska, Hawaii): Certain products may not be eligible to ship to these locations. Additional shipping charges may apply and will be billed separately.

Products Shipped Via Freight Truck

Large items shipped freight will be assessed a separate shipping fee. These products are typically shipped directly from our suppliers to keep shipping expenses to a minimum. Products that ship directly from the manufacturer will arrive in a separate shipment from products that are shipped from our warehouse. You will be required to pay for the shipment of the order prior to its delivery. 

Because of the large size of freight items, they may require an elevated loading dock to complete delivery. If your shipping location does not have an elevated loading dock, these products will be shipped via lift-gate-equipped truck (to lower the product from truck to the ground), and a lift-gate charge and/or inside delivery fee may be added to your order. If this is the case, you will be contacted regarding any additional fees.

2020/21 Note: Current shipping timing will be longer than average due to ongoing supply chain disruptions.

Most in stock orders ship within 7 business days. Certain items are custom, made-to-order items that can take up to 4 weeks for delivery to locations in the continental United States. These items will be identified in the product description section of the listing.



We have a 30 day policy for returns. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the order is incorrect or arrived damaged.

Initiating a return:

To complete your return, please contact us via the form and provide us with your order number and reason for return.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer unless instructed to do so.

Refunds (if applicable):
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 business days. If the issue was due to our error, the full cost of the item will be refunded. If the issue was not due to our error, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable). This includes any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, and any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable):
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable):
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

We recommend the usage of a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Gear Up Sports is not liable for items lost in the mail.


Missing Item Claims

Gear Up Sports provides tracking numbers with delivery confirmation emails for all of our orders so if the delivery tracking shows that the package has been delivered however the customer has not received the package, a missing items claim can be filed by contacting the carrier (Fedex/UPS) with your tracking number
